After the success making shells for the ERS-1000, I wanted to see how far I could take this. I always thought a clear ERS-210 would look cool - I've seen various clear prototype ERS-210s floating about but they have always been uncoloured. I wanted to see a clear orange or purple aibo!
I feel with this project I bit off more than I can chew - the difficultly making each part was ridiculously hard using the techniques I had used for making everything else. It took so many attempts to get shells that didnt have parts missing and retained the long screw threads. It was very messy with the liquid seeping out of the gaps while the parts were being formed. Just gross. (*´ー｀*)
In the end I managed to get enough parts to cover one arm and body shell. I did make more parts, but they are either flawed body panels or upper arm shells.
I've ran out of time now to finish the project, but I hope to try again once I return to Japan.

ERS-1000のシェル製作に成功した後、どこまでできるか試してみたかった。ずっと、透明なERS-210ってカッコいいなと思っていて、透明なプロトタイプのERS-210をいくつか見たことがあるけど、どれも無色だった。オレンジや紫の透明なアイボが見てみたかった！
このプロジェクトでは、ちょっと欲張りすぎたかもしれない。以前使っていた技術で各パーツを作るのはめっちゃ難しかった。何度も試して、欠けている部分がなく、長いネジ山を保持したシェルを作るのに苦労した。液体が成形中に隙間から漏れ出て、めっちゃ汚かった。(*´ー｀*)
結局、腕とボディシェルをカバーするのに十分なパーツを作れた。他にもパーツは作ったけど、欠陥のあるボディパネルか上腕のシェルばかりだった。
今はプロジェクトを終える時間がなくなっちゃったけど、日本に帰ったらまた挑戦したい。
