The most requested visor to be made has been the ERS-210's visor. The 210 model already has a long line of official visor variations offered by Sony in the past, so I think it inspires others to want more unique and cool looking visors for their own aibos.
When creating the mold, I did the same steps I took with the ERS-11x visor, however the 210 visor was more difficult due to the visor's tighter curve and increased height. Not only does it cause curing issues due to the mold thickness interfering with the UV light penetration, but it means the heat from the chemical curing process builds up and can cause defects. Not to mention bubbles are still an issue...

I've finally created visors for most aibo models. Next I want to make an ERS-7 visor, but I will need to take the visor off of my ERS-7 if I have time during my brief return to the UK.
一番リクエストが多かったのはERS-210のバイザーです。210モデルは過去にソニーから公式に様々なバイザーバリエーションが発売されているので、他のaiboにも個性的でかっこいいバイザーを着けたい、という気持ちが湧いてくるのではないでしょうか。
型を作る際はERS-11xと同じ手順で作業しましたが、210のバイザーはカーブがきつく、高さも高かったため、より難しかったです。型の厚みが紫外線の透過を妨げ、硬化に問題が生じるだけでなく、硬化時に熱がこもってしまい、不良品の原因にもなります。気泡の問題も依然として残っています…。

ようやくほとんどのaiboモデルのバイザーが完成しました。 次に ERS-7 のバイザーを作りたいのですが、英国に短期間帰国する間に時間があれば、ERS-7 からバイザーを取り外す必要があります。
