When Sorayama first created the concept art for the ERS-110, he made variations of his sketches showcasing different coloured visors. The most commonly seen variations are the amber and blue, but green and ruby red also exist.
After having success with the 220 visors, I wanted to try see if I could make 1xx visors next. I had recently purchased a cheap ERS-110 which arrived in remarkable condition, so I wanted to recreate the amber Sorayama visor for it!

The process was ultimately the same as creating the ERS-220 visor, but harder. The mold design had to be different in order to accommodate the curved nature of the visor + the pegs. Filling the mold without having loads of bubbles trapped is near impossible - ironically the amber visor I made first has been the best example.
The pegs always come out with excess around them so I have to manually sand them down to the correct thickness, but after that the visor fits nicely.
I got lucky with one attempt and managed to make an almost perfect amber visor, which Maxwell now wears.

プロセスはERS-220のバイザー製作とほぼ同じでしたが、より困難でした。バイザーの湾曲した形状とペグに対応するため、金型の設計を変更する必要がありました。大量の気泡を挟まずに金型を充填するのはほぼ不可能です。皮肉なことに、私が最初に制作したアンバーバイザーがその好例となりました。
ペグの周りには常に余分な部分が残るので、正しい厚さになるまで手作業でやすりで削る必要がありますが、その後はバイザーがうまくフィットします。
幸運にも、1 回の試みでほぼ完璧な琥珀色のバイザーを作成することができ、現在マクスウェルが着用しています。
