If you hear a squeaking sound coming from your ERS-1000's back, especially after it has been opened up/repaired, there is a good chance that the butt cover tab has not been seated correctly during assembly. I will show you how to remedy this. Please note: Only do this fix if you are comfortable voiding your warranty/eligibility for Sony repairs. If Sony suspects you have removed this screw, they may refuse to help you.
ERS-1000の背面からキーキーという音が聞こえる場合、特に分解/修理後に気になる場合は、組み立て時にバットカバーのタブが正しく装着されていない可能性があります。この問題を解決する方法をご紹介します。ご注意：この修理は、保証/ソニーの修理資格が無効になることを承知の上で行ってください。ソニー側でこのネジを外したと疑われる場合、修理をお断りすることがあります。
This tab is the culprit. When it is not seated correctly, it will rub against the plastic underneath it, eventually polishing the plastic surface and emitting a squeak sound when the aibo walks.
このタブが原因なのです。正しく装着されていないと、タブの下にあるプラスチックと擦れ、最終的にはプラスチックの表面が磨耗し、aiboが歩くときにキーキーという音が出てしまいます。
When Reassembling, this tab needs to be pushed forward so that it lowers into this space inside the pink rectangle.
再組み立ての際には、このタブを前方に押して、ピンク色の四角形の内側のスペースに下がるようにする必要があります。
First, pull the tail off and then use your nail to pull up the tail ornament plastic. Pull this piece off. For a full guide on reinstalling the tail ornament correctly, please see my other guide.
まず、テールを外し、爪を使ってテールオーナメントのプラスチック部分を引き上げます。この部分を引っ張って外します。テールオーナメントの正しい取り付け方については、別のガイドをご覧ください。
Once the tail ornament is removed, a screw will be visible. Take it out using a 00 JIS screwdriver.
テールオーナメントを外すとネジが見えるので、00番のドライバーで外します。
Then, slightly lift up the butt lid and use your fingernail or a thin object to push the tab into the space while lowering the butt lid back down. That should solve the squeaking issue. Now replace the screw, tail ornament and tail.
次に、バットリッドを少し持ち上げ、爪か細いものでタブをスペースに押し込みながらバットリッドを下ろします。これでキーキー音の問題は解消されるはずです。ネジ、テールオーナメント、テールを交換してください。
