Mysterious prototype shown in the book 'Birth of Aibo'. It is set in the ERS-110 production line and seems to be a test unit for various parts and maybe software. Interestingly despite being an ERS-110, it has early colour test shells for the upcoming ERS-111. While the silver paint seems very similar to production units, the black paint seems vastly different with a far more pronounced blue/purple tone. It's not as deep black as the production ERS-111.
Other noteworthy mentions are the tail still being the same length as the ERS-110, longer claw pieces and experimentations with ear length. It seems they may have considered making it longer.
