The ERS-1100 is a ERS-110 variant created for use in the Robocup tournaments where more flexibility was needed for programming purposes. It has an active PC Card slot in the battery bay where a LAN card slots into and an antenna leads from. The antenna module pushes into the aibo's left ear slot. The back of the head featured a video-out port for externally analysing and testing visual based software.

Left: Two ERS-1100s from opposing teams battling for control over the ball. Quite like MUTANT, they use an orange coloured ball rather than a pink ball the commercials ERS-110 plays with. This is probably to avoid confusion with the red body markings used on some aibos.
