The prototypes for the Sumitomo Trust Fund Bank collaboration was shown during a later Aibo Fan Meeting event. The prototypes are mostly identical to store Shinjil and Taxel units, but the key difference in in their face markings. The 'eyepatch' area on the earlier prototype faceplates meets and ends in a sharp edge shape rather than the softer, more natural curve seen in the production units.
Also shown were failed spray painting attempts where paint had gotten through the tape mask and left dark imperfections on the white surface.

住友信託銀行とのコラボレーションによるプロトタイプは、その後開催されたaiboファンミーティングで公開されました。プロトタイプはシンジルやタクセルの店頭販売モデルとほぼ同一ですが、大きな違いはフェイスプレートのデザインです。初期のプロトタイプのフェイスプレートの「眼帯」部分は、量産モデルに見られるような柔らかく自然な曲線ではなく、鋭角なエッジ形状になっています。また、スプレー塗装の失敗例も公開されました。塗料がテープマスクを突き抜け、白い表面に黒い斑点が残っていました。
