Talking Aibo is a software for the ERS-3xx series that was co-developed in conjunction with NAMCO. The software gives the aibo the ability to talk to the user (similar to how the ERS-7 tries to hold conversations).
The software has its own unique mood system called the 'heart' system. The aibo's personality will change into three personality states: happiness, lonely and bored personalities depending on interaction and how you play with them. Apparently the dances and talking accent will also change to reflect this.
Going off of the aibo's internal clock, aibo will be aware of various seasonal festivals and occurrences such as:
New Year's Day, Valentines day, Dolls festival, Cherry Blossoms blooming and Spring.

Aibo will also whisper secrets at random. It might be quiet so you might miss them.
For many years this software was wrongly called 'Story Aibo' by the English speaking community due to Google mistranslation/lack of native understanding of the language.
