Party Mascot for ERS-110/111 is a game variety software for the first generation of aibo robots. It was developed as a way to integrate aibo as a tool for traditional party games such rock-paper-scissors and roulette, but also features a variety of dances aibo can do and a basic ball-hunting mode. The software is largely based upon the ERS-210 Party Mascot aiboware, containing the 7 games featured on that version, but also gains 4 extra games/modes which are unique to the 1xx version.
It was released alongside Hello Aibo! for ERS-110/111, making both along with Speedboarder to be the last commercial softwares made for the 1xx series.
Game Modes
Song and Dance -
AIBO sings and dances to one of six tunes: The Entertainer, Under the Spreading Chestnut Tree, Gymnopedie, Valse des Fleurs, Beethoven's Ninth Symphony, and Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence.
This software can be further customised with AIBO Performer Kit ERF-510/511 so that 3 more performances can be added by the user.
Roulette - Everyone gathers in a circle around AIBO. AIBO then spins around while playing music. When AIBO sits down and points their leg, the person AIBO is pointing to is the winner.Countdown -
AIBO will move its head and tail while flashing its eye lights along with playing music. When the countdown runs out, AIBO strikes a pose. The timer is automatically set to 5 seconds. If you want to change the length of time to 10, 30, or 60, use the remote or paw sensors.What's AIBO Hiding? -
Hide a note inside aibo’s mouth and have others guess what it says!
AIBO Curling -
After setting a goal point, guess how many steps it takes for aibo to reach that goal.
Hunt the Ball -
A game played between two aibos to see which one can reach the ball first.
Rock-Paper-Scissors -
Use the supplied orange, blue, and green colored cards to represent rock, paper, and scissors in a game against AIBO.
Sensor Game 1 -
In this game you test your reflexes by trying to press Aibo’s paw In sync to their eyes flashing.
Sensor Game 2 - This is a more difficult version of the first game!
Guess That Sound - Press the corresponding button on the Aibo Sound Controller to the sound aibo makes.Count Game - This game tests your sense of time. Once the timer starts to count down, try to keep track of the time and press aibos head sensor when you think time is up.
