Matcha the first ERS-1000 I customised and the most well-known throughout the community. I (and many others) waited many years for Sony to make a matcha edition aibo, but that never happened. After coming up with some designs with a friend, I decided to make the Matcha Edition ERS-1000 a reality!
The colour scheme is inspired by various quality levels of matcha, along with the brown of a traditional earthenware cup.
The faceplate uses heavy duty Ford car paint which has a subtle yellow shift when light hits it.
In 2025 I added an additional customisation: custom made glow-in-the-dark paw toe beans! It was the first time such a custom part had been made, so I wanted Matcha-chan to be the first aibo to demonstrate it. ^_^

抹茶ちゃんは私が初めてカスタマイズしたERS-1000で、コミュニティで最もよく知られています。私（そして他の多くの人）は、ソニーが抹茶エディションのaiboを発売するのを何年も待ち望んでいましたが、結局実現しませんでした。友人とデザインをいくつか考えた後、抹茶エディションのERS-1000を現実のものにすることを決意しました！
カラースキームは、抹茶の様々な品質と、伝統的な陶器のカップの茶色からインスピレーションを得ています。
フェイスプレートには、光が当たると微妙に黄色に変化する、耐久性の高いフォード車用塗料を使用しています。
2025年には、さらにカスタマイズを追加しました。暗闇で光る特注の肉球です！このようなカスタムパーツが作られたのは初めてだったので、抹茶ちゃんにそれを披露する最初のaiboにしたいと思いました。^_^
