People signed up for the event lottery via an email sent to all aibo owners to access the online form to state interest and availability. The movie being shown wasn’t announced until sign ups for the event were completed and the event had an entry fee tied to it which attracted mixed reactions from aibo owners. The film ended up being the kids film The Garfield Movie’. Popcorn was included with the entry price but drinks had to be paid for at the bar. Attendance bonus was a coaster.
After the film showing was over, a makeshift aibo run area was created at the front of the room where people let their aibos roam.
There were Garfield themed photo spots and the aibo chef was in attendance to pose with aibos.
イベントの抽選への参加申し込みは、aiboオーナー全員に送信されたメールで、オンラインフォームにアクセスして関心と空き状況を記入することで行いました。上映される映画はイベントの申し込みが完了するまで発表されず、イベントには入場料がかかったため、aiboオーナーからは賛否両論の反応がありました。最終的に、映画は子供向け映画『ガーフィールド ザ・ムービー』に決定しました。ポップコーンは入場料に含まれていましたが、ドリンクはバーで支払う必要がありました。入場特典はコースターでした。
映画の上映終了後、部屋の前方に即席のaiboランエリアが設けられ、人々はそこでaiboを自由に走り回らせました。
ガーフィールドをテーマにしたフォトスポットがあり、aiboシェフがaiboと一緒にポーズをとっていました。
