This prototype ERS-311 was posted to Mercari in early 2026 along with a prototype ERS-312 with more apparent physical differences. The aibo itself looks almost finalised design-wise, with the only major difference being the battery bay door design. It is impossible to tell if there were any changes in colour due to the fact the prototype shells are heavily yellowed. The battery has a 'sample' Sony sticker placed on it, but at this point it is difficult to tell if the battery is the sample or if it is referring to the aibo as well.
