This series of DVT prototypes have been seen on a few occasions. DVT 1 seems to be the aibo in the FCC filing and has a few differences to the retail model, while the aibos in the picture above (shown at an Aibo Fan Meeting event) are more akin to retail ERS-1000s. The aibo on the right (that has the number 31 on its shoulder) appears to have plastic ears that are a different shape to the finalised ear design, while the aibo on the left has more finalised design ears but a totally different shaped ear hub.
このDVTシリーズのプロトタイプは、これまで何度か目撃されています。DVT 1はFCC申請中のaiboのようですが、市販モデルとは若干の違いがあります。一方、上の写真（aiboファンミーティングイベントで展示）のaiboは、市販のERS-1000に近いようです。右側のaibo（肩に31の数字がある）はプラスチック製の耳が付いており、最終的な耳のデザインとは異なる形状になっています。一方、左側のaiboは、より最終的なデザインの耳が付いていますが、耳のハブの形状が全く異なります。
