Ever since the Rolly was first released I wanted there to be a champagne-coloured model to match the champagne/honey brown ERS-7. This want became even stronger after the introduction of the black and pink Rolly. Sadly with the Rolly's discontinuation my wishes weren't met - so many years later I decided to make my own!! (￢_￢)
I chose this lovely brown 'Mocha' metallic paint from Kustom Cans. I had to figure out how to take the Rolly apart for the shells, but I managed.
Unfortunately the speakers themselves were sealed to the outer casing, so I had to mask them as much as possible so that I could safely spray the shell portion without damaging the speakers themselves.
The Rolly wheels were dyed using Rit Dyemore, boiled in a pan.
It was the first time anyone had custom painted a Sony Rolly, so Im glad I completed the project successfully.

残念ながらスピーカー本体は外装に密着していたため、シェル部分にスプレー塗装する際にスピーカー本体を傷つけないよう、できるだけマスキングする必要がありました。
