My first Bandai BN-1 custom! I had a lot of fun painting a non-zibo robot for a change and would love to do more BN-1 customs in the future. I'm a big fan of ginger cats, so I designed this custom to take advantage of the discoloured white plastics and the BN-1's overall form factor to make the solid stripe patterns look good.
The stripes were applied using a mix of masking/spray painting + painting by hand with an extremely small hobby brush.
I loved the look of the clear plastic tail balls the prototype BN-1 robots had, so I made my own in hot pink! I wonder if the aibos will chase them around now? =^_^=
