This was the very first 'Aibo Fan Meeting' event held after the release of the ERS-1000. There was a total of 97 owners in attendance, who were gifted fans, stickers and badges for attendance.
The 'Aibo Run' area was introduced where owners could let their aibos wander and interact with other aibos. The 'Aibo Counselling' area was also introduced - basically a stand-in for the old Aibo Clinic which used to be common at old-era aibo events.
Aibo Lounge was the main presentation event where developers of the Aibo project talked about various points on creating the ERS-1000. The development manager Kawanishi led the talk, going over points such as the design, how they went to great efforts to hide screws and achieve a cute appearance for aibo. The clear shell ERS-1000 also made it's first appearance.
Zoologist Dr Imaizumi made a guest appearance to talk about their study into the interaction between dogs and aibo, and how aibo was perceived as part of the family. The paper from this study was published online.
